Here's a simple and delicious recipe for making Hakka noodles at home:

Ingredients:

  • 200g Hakka noodles
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2-3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 cup spring onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon chili sauce (optional, adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Noodles:

    1. Boil water in a large pot. Add a pinch of salt and a few drops of oil to the boiling water.
    2. Add the Hakka noodles and cook according to the package instructions until they are al dente.

  2. Prepare the Vegetables:

    1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large wok or pan over medium-high heat.
    2. Add the minced garlic and chopped ginger, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
    3. Add the sliced onion and stir-fry for 2 minutes until they start to turn translucent.
    4. Add the bell pepper, carrot, and cabbage, and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender but still crisp. Buy now:- Nazar Mug
  3. Combine Noodles and Sauce:

    1. Add the cooked noodles to the wok with the vegetables.
    2. Pour in the soy sauce, vinegar, and chili sauce (if using). Toss everything together to coat the noodles evenly with the sauces.
    3. Sprinkle with black pepper powder and add salt to taste.
    4. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes to combine all the flavors.
  4. Serve:

    1. Turn off the heat and garnish with chopped spring onions.
    2. Serve hot, either on its own or with your favorite side dishes.
